New Fuse Box - No Signals/brake Lights

Ok, I've installed a new
aftermarket
fuse box in my 66. Everything is working except for my turn signals and brake lights. I have hazards, driving lights, headlights and all dash lights.
One noticable difference is that the after market places fuses (the 2 end red fuses) at the drivers side of the panel instead of one on either end. I had to extend a couple of wires to accomadate this. Anyone smart out there that can help me out

Any loose wires on the switches, check your turn signal relay as well. Should be pretty obvious problem, if all you did was swap the fuse box, unless of course your headlights are now your turn signals and vice versa

I've checked all the connections, I would think if the relay was shot then the hazards wouldn't work.
Like I said everything else works except the brake lights and turn signals.

If memory serves..... VW has an odd way of using signal lights. Check all the wires again that come off of the collumn. Me thinks you inadvertantly hooked up one wrong. I could tell right away if I were there..... sorry bud. The last wiring nightmare I worked on was SlammedBus's Notchback. I imagine they are about the same though..... When in doubt find a copy of the wiring diagram for your car that has colour coding on it. If you have hazards but no signals then it's a signal problem from the collumn. The hazards are direct to the relay but the column goes through the fuse box. Again....... IF MEMORY SERVES!!!

BAD FUSE - one of the 16amp fuses had a hairline break - always something stupidly simple that makes you pull your hair out!
Anyways, all fixed
