I am desperate to slam my bus and have considered purchasing a second hand beam but if money was the issue, what would be the cheapest option  dropped spindles or beam. And if I were to use spindles what would the drop be, I know that they are not adjustable and they throw the wheels out, and what effect this would have.

I believe you can simply swap your spindles around to lower your Bus.  Perhaps someone who knows Busses will add some info.

Buying dropped spindles already made isn't cheap, but most of the cost seems to be the new link pins and bushings. You can fab your own, but it's not quite as easy as swapping your spindles around, but that is the basic idea. They get flipped over on the carriers, then stops are welded in. You also need to clearance the back side of the spindle to clear the carrier. It isn't the hardest thing to do if you have general fabrication skills, and a good welder.
Spindles won't push your wheels out on a T2. I would go with the dropped spindle route...makes for a much nicer riding bus.

Bus Maniac, why don't you wait until you move to Sask, then pay Trevor to build your dropped spindles?
