Kirin, my '68 has only been on the dyno once (stupid bitch dropped the clutch and almost launched the car into the wall ]

) They just mark it down as a lowered chassis. I think if it looks like anything (exhaust, suspension, etc) will hit the ground when the car drops into the rollers they won't test it. Although, as I think was stated in another thread, the dyno is the easy test for old VW's. The idle test is harder to tune for, so there isn't usually much advantage to skipping the dyno. Personally, I just don't like those idiots driving my car.
