Thats good new Russ! Let everyone know how the process of applying for modified collectors status goes. The lady at the insurance place down the street from me says I have to come to an agreed value of the car with ICBC personel and pay extra for that coverage....I guess key word here is {agreed value}!
Any tips on getting the car past aircare? I have to run my car tru in a few weeks before I swap out the new motor.
Gerry
well it was pretty simple pick up the forms, take the required pics they want.have an aircare certficate(passed) and a vehicale inspection done.
send pics, aircare slip and inspection papers in and wait.took about 4 weeks and i just got the papers back saying i can go get my plates.
i am going to let my insurance run out (another 3 weeks then get the plates)
as for value it does ask for an agreed value i put what i thought was fair, they agreed to that value.with that being said if anything were to happen you would still have to prove that it is worth that value (they just agree it's close from what i gather)
we have had an apprasial done on the car and the value was with in 500.00 of what i listed the value at.
all in all it was not too bad at all.
