In my typical fashion, we head out to Irvine this morning at 5:00 AM..no go. The fuel pump packs it in on the Safari. OK, unload the car and drive the 1 hour plus to Irvine. About 35 minutes later..clack a clack a...Say good bye to a Scat valve adjuster, right in half(according to Scat, they have had these fail before). Argh! 3 1/2 hours later thanks to Rob and K-Roc, a new adjuster is installed on the busy San Diego freeway. I finally make it to the show at 9:45 to find a lack of show spots. The DKP were gracious enough to offer me a spot in the DKP row..cool. Unfortunately, the DKP row isn't judged, oh well, no trophy. We finally saw the 'Rolling Blackout' 67 on display, wow! Rumour has it there's over $300,000 US in it so far..ouch! Another terrific show, great friends. Now to fix the fuel pump...
