The car belongs to Emilio and there's nothing ICBC or the Motor Vehicle branch can do to keep the car from him.
Until you sign a transfer form, it is your car. DUH!

The car is probably sitting in the towing yard of the tow company. Until a claim is opened, ICBC doesn't know the car was wrecked, so it won't be in the ICBC yard under the south end of the Queensboro bridge.
This brings up a point I tell everyone. If you wreck your car and you are not injured, tell the towing co to take
your car to
your house. You own the car and I don't understand why anyone would want to
pay to store their car at a towing yard where any one of the employees can sift through whatever you have in the car. They will also leave it in the yard where it will fill with water through any broken windows.
