Just Installed 2" Lowered Beam....problems?
« on: September 20, 2005, 01:42:03 AM »
If anyone can help it would be great.

I just installed a 2\" lowered beam, new ball lowered ball joints, new tie rod end and now the steering feels like something is dragging or binding ( It turn smooth before the work was done), Also the steering doesn't return after going around a corner?
I couldn't mount the steering box on the the two notches on the beam because it put the steering coupler at a really bad angle.

I did the alignment at work, I set the toe and camber but I did know there are caster shims. That would make a difference.
I'm thinking I may have buggered one of the ball joints when I pressed them in. But I'll check my alignment numbers again.

thanks
