What a blast!!  Had a great weekend taking in the all the good sights sounds and smells of VW's.  Congrats to Mike and Brian. Awesome Cars for sure!  I had some good luck at the drags. The first round was the best as I took out a GM v6 powered Baja   Went  3 rounds then in the  4th(semi final)  I had a plug wire fall apart. That was it for me. If ya didn't go plan now for next year!!!  And we'll see everyone at GCVWS

It was a great weekend , thats for sure. With all the gasoline we burned through and this damn burning pain on my neck from the sun :) . We probably would have had some more time trials on the gopeds but I got us barred from riding them since Dan N and I decided to try our best at the road racing course. Bad Idea!!! we ended up at the end of the drag strip and later had some ass official haul up after us and gave us heck!! Anyways I had a ball with my new toy anyways. Good racing, Lots of good beer and no hangover!!!!

i had a good time and it was cool to meet matt and outkast and red snapper.  that ghia is super sweet.  The vintage meet looks to be getting bigger for sure.  Gotta talk with \"kaferdave\" Dave Cormack from HotVWs.  Man that guy has tons of stories!  all in all a good hot weekend!

amen to that. sunday was a loooong ride home, even tho i slept most of the way. still not moving very fast even today.

'twas awesome to see both brian and mike double-fisting on saturday with their first-place beer steins; and seeing mike giddy as a school girl after chatting with dave from hot VWs. that guy has got a good eye for cars, cos mikey's square is gorgeous and runs like a dream. unfortunately, can't say the same for the mighty 45s.   the first half hour they seemed to run ok, but it kinda went all downhill from there. i think jim's wheelie-gone-wrong kinda foreshadowed what was to come...

all in all, tho, it was a great weekend of cars, swapping, racing and a helluva a lot of sun. big hugs to shane, lor & billy for carting my sorry ass to and from seattle. thanks again guys, i o u big time.
Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.

The weekend was a blast. Too bad some of you didnt show. You were all missed. James, unfortunatly no records were broken, but it was fun till I got knocked out in the fourth round. For some reason everyone ran a little slower. Must have been the hot weather.  I still have that  Madonna song ringing in my ears! Thanks alot Danny! Nice cars and good people, Thats whats its all about. Oh, and I want to thank Gary Ball(GMB) for all his hard work in getting my motor ready. He worked his ass off. Cant wait untill next year. Way to go Penguin!!!
