Been searching Craigslist for years for the right one. Jackass Cdn import laws for not letting Kitcars into the country so I knew I had to find one that was not finished so I could bring it in as parts, it took 2 trips across the line to bring it all back. Last week I brought home the 1970 pan that was shortened so now the planning begins.......I need to build a wide rear end and read about Porsche 944 parts for this and I think polished 16 in.FUCHS would look great also.

Go with the new 17" polished fuchs! They would look BadAss on that car!

found some nice 44 webers so my 40's are now for sale. I think I need a set of heads with bigger valves to go with motor unless someone knows of a machine shop who can do a number on the ones I already have ?

I can't decide on the color of the interior I have the original 20 year old unsewn vinyl ad carpet all in BLACK but the upholstery dude says it's crap and wants to start from scratch so I thought I might do a different color like a dark tabacco shade like this but with black of tan carpet

or a chocolate brown with black or tan carpet

or just black with piping in a contrasting color in antique white like this

any suggestions boys and girls ?

I should mention the black gelcoat is not a final color but it's on the short list along with a blue like this

or something like this I love everything about this including the BRM wheels

Sounds like a plan I'll be working on the front bumper and hood all day tomorrow. My bar is only stocked with 1800 Tequila, Jack Daniels and cold Corona if any of that works for you come by any time after lunch.
As far as interior exterior colors goes it's leaning towards a Chocolate/Metalic Black combo with Black softtop

Got the front bumper on today and dropped off all the interior to the upholstery shop too. Finally made a decision on color, mostly black with some Dark antique Burgandy.
