Ding Ding Ding!!!! Ovalzealous was correct! And no it will never run again, It is one of the four Hercules Bristol 14 cyl engines from my uncles Halifax LV905 Bomber that crashed in Holland in may of 1944.
Below is a pic of what is left of that engine after 62 years, in fact not much has changed since the day it struck the dyke as it sunk in the clay only two days later.

I'm still working out details but it should be here by spring 07
