Mission ,last Day Of The Year
« on: September 29, 2006, 11:16:20 PM »
once again the gods of nice weather were on our side .
double D had help from lanny and joe and i had help from silas.good help is always welcome!!!!and needed ,thanks guys

well for me  the day did not go so smooth at times ,with a bunch of ups and downs .but we tackled them all ,delt with them one by one and came out not to bad in the end.
day started with a 11.515 but did not get to run for quite awhile as i had a oil issue that needed some attension :D
then it was time to get to work fine tuning the  nitrous system ,today i actually played with 2 methods of injection and learned more than i could ever explain.only got 4 runs in during the day as much time was spent attending to things :D
so because of the earlier hold ups we decided to stick around for the street legals. but since i was running a open exhaust i was given the thumbs down after 2 runs.so the end results could of been a bit better if we had another couple of runs, but it drove on the trailer !! .so after 40 + passes and alot of trial and error here you go,see you on the streets and strip next year!!

awesome day & night for sure. and season for that matter.

i learned alot this summer...the value of an lm-1...different forms of nitrous injection...the adaptability of using a fully programable/pulsed/progressive nitrous system...how to work with what you have to continue racing...how important it is to take it a step at a time to keep it all together. priceless info and tuning techniques. also had a ton of good laughs with alot of good people.

it was very cool hanging out at the track today with jim, darren, lanny, joe, brian, simone, kim, gary, mike...

congrats on the 11.375 jim. the big kaw would be proud. B)

if we had a bit better luck a little earlier in the day. may have been able to SQUEEZE  :D alittle more out of it.
like any kind of forced induction taking baby steps is the smart route ,we just needed a couple more steps that day.

Way to go Jim. Huge accomplishment with 40+ runs.  I look forward to seeing you next year doing this all over again.  Great dedication to our hobby in BC.

how to work with what you have to continue racing...
yay for coke and dasani bottles! it's all about the corporate sponsorship. ;)

congrats to jim, brian and (altho i didn't see the run) darren. good job boyz, a great way to end the season.
Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.

Jim, that omni was a pretty quick car. I think he did a low 12 when he kicked my ass. Seems everyone got faster and I stayed the same. Gotta do something about that next year!
