Best Aftermarket Ragtop?
« on: September 27, 2006, 11:27:33 AM »
Hey guys,
Just curious as to whats the general consensus on whats the best and most \"correct\" looking aftermarket ragtop roof out there.  Just seeing if the whole finding a ragtop clip goes sideways I want to keep my options open.

If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

If you graft in an original VW sunroof, and do a good job of it, the value of your car goes up a bit.
Put in an aftermarket sunroof, and your car is worth ZERO!

I think the Britax kits are by far the best ones you can get. If your  going to do it I would suggest you check it out.

Stay away from those street-beat ones Kirin. Trust me! When I was much much younger I put one in my first beetle.... totally uncool. I've heard Webasto makes good ones for whatever it's worth. I'd do a OEM one before anything first tho.

There ya go Kirin.  Get the guy to wrap it up in a couple of layers in cardboard and have him ship it via the DOG.  I'm not sure, but I think it may be too large to UPS.
