Firstly let me apologise for not contacting anyone, I was a little bit worried about making contact as you guys had gone out of your way to help, and I wanted to meet you all but havent had chance to scratch my butt. Anyway I bit the bullet and made time to write a email to you all.
I really wanted to meet up with you guys when we arrived in Vancouver, but we had deadlines to meet and it would have been impossible and I thought it would have made more sense to do it when we are not so stressed.

Been in the Loops for just over two weeks and loving it, but jesus christ I swear I havent stood still long enough to pee, not helped by the fact that are removal company in England didnt send our furniture until the 19th of September, so it didnt arrive in the country until yesterday in Ontario, it then has to be moved to the Loops by rail, so we figure we wont see it until next week. So we had a beautiful house and nothing to put in it, but we have been helped out fantastically well by a Canadian couple that we had as an email contact before we left the U.K. They and other people have furnished our house from top to bottom with the help of thier contacts, WOW is all we could say such kindness shown to us by people that we dont know, it,s so heart warming.

Well let me open the door to you guys, anyone passing please say hi, I cant promise to be that sociable at the moment as there is too much going on but I  plan to mneet you all at some stage , I hope that meets with your approval.

Good to hear you are settling in.  Look forward to meeting you.  Salmon Arm isn't too far away and I travel that way several times a year.

welcome to canada tony & family!

so glad to hear you guys made it here okay, and that you've been treated to good ol' Canuck hospitality already. there'll be lots of time for a meet and greet down the road, so no apologies needed -- although, it makes you sound extremely Canadian.  ;)
Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.
