Nice 61-62 Ragtop Seen In North Van
« on: September 21, 2006, 01:30:09 PM »
Saw the nice looking beetle early morning yesterday driving towards the waterfront in North Van. Couldn't really tell the colour but nicely restored with white wall tires, all I could see in the rain was the deep sump hanging below the car. Airspeed reader?

Early! I think I was headed to the gym, sometime before 6:30? It looks like a beauty of a car.

Yeah, that would be me! There's another ragtop I spotted on Lloyd Ave south of Marine that's for sale. Two tone green and white I think. Also seen a nice yellow one headed towards Port Moody last week.

JB- \"works for me\"  You're never there!

of course there's the guy I see on occasion crossing to the north shore over the lions gate at 6:00 am, windshield down, bugs in his teeth, that's a real VW person. I thought I'd be brave and taking the 68 convert to work over the second narrows, worked well, beautiful morning... one of those great to be alive days! (until I got to work)
