i think all the smack talkers should be worried most about those who havent said anything.

you know the ones, hiding in their poorly lit garage till the wee hours of the morn, working on that \"special\" port job and \"secret\" cam grind. dialing the combo just right, so when it's all ready to go, the only thing you'll hear is the \"pfffft\" of a fresh can of whoop ass being opened upon you.

i can think of two local cars off the top of my head that will be running in the 13-15 second bracket. these guys dont say much, but come the time when the tree lights up, so will the tires of these cars.

Drill??? They are stractigically engineered weight reduction ports!

I think we'll see some new cars hitting 12's this year - me not included unless I ass a helper. But yes 13-15's should have quite a few cars in that realm.

And as far as the people \"keeping quite\" ever see a kid cowering in the corner cause its scared - you get the picture.

yes, and i've also seen the big loudmouth sitting in the back of the class room talking about all the cool stuff he knows and does, but when it comes time to stand in front of the class and present his project, he crumbles into a pile of nothingness.

Well i guess it's about time i speak up here............who wants to race my Bread box next year? (I'll take Brian and James on in the Speed E bus)  :D

I know of a lot of new cars in the works for this year, Like Silas said the real contenders are the ones who keep quiet and just show up and run the #'s

Bruce M who is on here but never posts has a 66 beetle with 2332cc IDA fed monster with one hell a close gear box. Easy 12's and well into the 100 mph range.

There is also a new 88x94 motor hitting the streets this year.....be affraid be very affraid!

If we can get everyone or most out for the Real VW street car shoot out in the spring we could have one hell of a race day!

looking forward to Spring/Summer 2004

With my car with complete interior and highway cruiser box I would be absolutly ecstatic with a low 16 or a mid 15 run. More like a 18 against Paul and Stephan is the reality:p
-Kirin
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

If your new engine is only running 18s I'm gonna slap you Kirin!

Stephan, The GTi is gone now, its just the bug.   BUT! This past weekend I managed to install 1 fully functional A2 GTi seat into my bug! Just one more to go!
