Anyone Know This Guy
« on: September 09, 2006, 06:55:59 PM »
I saw an ad on the Samba from this guy on the Island.  He had a few things for sale.  One of which is latches for a single cab.  I email him asking him some simple questions about them and what else he may have from a single cab for sale.  Here is his responses (first email at the bottom, last at the top):

fuck you

Hey, ask Sparky if he knows anyone up there who knows about a black front engine'd V8 Beetle.  My buddy used to own it, then after he sold it, he heard it went to Campbell River.

It would have been a SB Chevy with a Turbo 400 trans, and a Ford 9\".

The island is 250 AC.

The car I am thinking of was a 60.  It was black and had all sheet aluminum interior panels, including firewall.  It has a 1pc glass tilt front, and used a stock K&L front suspension with disc brakes.  The K&L beam was stock height, but with the added weight, it lowered just right.
