That is Shane running, that would be his best time, and that was him taking it easy!

He says its 100+ degrees out and he is playing with the big boys of VW, tomorrow is the qualifiers and trophy races, today was test and tune.

awesome. way to go shane. you are fu@$ing hardcore buddy. i got's my buddha boys racing t on and i'm reaching a state of zen and meditating quick times for you.  B)

i was mistaken in thinking that super street is for turbos but it's only for n/a cars. so is he running super comp then? if so, hopefully he gets some practice getting to know what a 10.90 pass feels like so he doesnt break out.

good luck shane. hopefully wayne (islandbugs) made it down there allright.

Hey Everyone,
 We are back....
Man what a rush, First off I want to htank my pit crew of Geoff, DannyBoy, and Que for making the journey down there. Once again I must say this was a blast with these Nut bars... Que became Canadian. and Was taking over for me hugging everyone he could... saying \"We are all about the Love\" Also the Rocket cars and Planes we made.... wow.. I will get into all the details later...

So, For anyone who is a \"Street Legal\" Racer like myself... We are not really racers, just guys who like to see what we can do... This event has to be the most intimidating thing I have ever done. I have never felt soooo sick heading to the start line.... You look around and all you see is the Big names in VW's everyone was there..... Just looking at the starting line with Muffer Mike, all the Bergs, The VW Paradise team, AJ Sims, MATT DAVIS, Lawless, and the list goes on and on.... I get to the line of test and tune, I basically took the car off the trailer and suited up in the 100 plus weather, Geoff says \"Take er easy dood\" it is hot out here. Kris Lauffer comes up to the car and says\" hey I will water box you\" I am like \" ok I am ready to puke.... I see Kris start to Cam the run..... I get to the line, stage the car and just start saying.... watch the light, don't miss the light, I look at my tach and take it up to 5500rpm light turns green, wheels up and off I go.... Take it easy yeah right,,, my brain fell out at the line... I just start shifting.... Get to the end and know it was a great run, Car felt good, Now I am shaking; Knowing I fooled all these pro's.... Thinking I know how to drive... After I park the car I head out to the pits and guys I don't even know are coming up and saying\" Dood, you sure know how to drive that Car\" Papa Paradise comes up and says\" I had to go to the finish line to make sure it was still you behind the wheel\"  That made my weekend, I could have loaded up and went home,
That was my best run with a 10.819 @ 124.678 Reaction was .386, 60ft was 1.523
The trip home was as much fun as the trip there with some crazy stuff going on, I will post later, The boys got video of my run, which I will send to James to post on his site. Next for the Car is Fuel injection.
Once again thanks to my Pit Crew for making this trip so worth while....I could not have done it with out you....

I made a couple more runs, had 2 bad launches, car is going to get a tear down and then on with the Fuel injection, Would like to be back at Sac for the next Bug-o rama..
Manda saw the tape of Target and just laughed and laughed.
