Brian And James 13.6 1/4 Times

What were your 1/8 mile times and mph  when you both were running 13.6 second 1/4's?

13.6 is about what my car is at right now converting from a 8.702 @82.07 mph  with a 2.112 60' .  I am trying to figure out what my car will do with slicks.  At the last race the track was not prepped like Mission, I could only launch at 4200. Mission I launched at 4800.

My brother-in-law came for a ride with me and watched the boost guage, it jumped to 12, then setled down to 10 pounds, And I thought I was running 12 haha. 10 pounds and many more psi to go means next year is going to be awsome.  I might make it to 1 more race next weekend before it's time for winter.  I will try to get my boost controler to give me 15 pounds, something is screwy with it, I guess that is what I get for making 1 myself.

A 14.042 @ 98.37 1/4 pass gave me a 9.155 @ 82.86 1/8 pass last year.
A 13.578 @ 95.71 1/4 pass gave me a 8.490 @ 80.31 1/8 pass last year.
A 12.343 @ 102.52 1/4 pass gave me a 7.738 @ 91.25 1/8 pass this year.

All passes with slicks.

It's not going to give you a true comparison seeing as we have different gearing and all that.

Yea my gearing uses stock gears, and a 3.88 R&P, wow your all over the place with your times.  If you would have been at Thunder mountain on Friday night, your car would have been in the top 3-5 for fastest  out of 68 cars.

Thanks

There are so many variables to consider like shift points - The first time I listed (14 Second) was prior to hitting a dyno and finding my sweet spot, the 13.5 after was when I shifted at 6600 where my power band peaked instead of the 7200 that \"felt\" good.

The 12 second pass was with the turbo and a bunch of other changes so it's apples to oranges really.

Yea every run I have done I keep going richer, and increasing the 2 step abit.  No runs close to each other yet, only faster and faster et.

Then there is the boost to start playing with which will really start playing with my times.
