SLR Mclaren? Did it belong to Kyle Washington? If so I have been for a drive in that car.

must say i've been lucky enough to drive some of the worlds best cars but that Mclaren SLR takes the cake hands down.i had the car out for a couple of hours doing some on the road testing  :D and i must say i'm very very impressed.the acceleration and deceleration rates are unbelievable.i wish i had the car for longer as i would love to take people for a drive all day long.the fellow who now ownes it flew in this morning from calgary and is now on the road with it back to calgary with it,lucky man!!!!

figured lanny would like that phone call  :D the sound that car makes is just plain mean.

Any idea's how it self destructed so quickly?  Thats what happened to my new rebuilt turbo also.  .  My center section was to blame on mine, it was a chinese center section with garrett shaft, wheels and backing plate.  I ended up using the original garrett center section from my used turbo and a bunch of misc parts to make a usable turbo for now.  Still waiting for my other turbo to get here.  I know how your feeling.  New turbo gone bad fast.  Mine lasted all of 3 runs down the street up to about 4500 rpm. Junkyard pieced together turbo is working good though.
