My Own Personal Thankyou!
« on: August 21, 2006, 09:14:02 PM »
I gotta say, I'm a little dissapointed at the outcome of the GCVWS Saturday night BBQ. Actually, I'm a little more than dissapointed.

Shane and Amanda opened their gates for the VW community this past weekend for what turned out to be a pretty fun night, until this morning that is. I just want to thank the f#### low-life that decided the $100,000,  2006 Sterling Semi-Truck, parked in the back of the \"Pointblank Ranch\" (which I drive on a daily basis), was as good as any place to deposit their beer cans. I counted 6, flying off the back of the truck down HWY 1, left behind on my full fenders, hidden out of site by my trailer. I guess the Recycling cans placed strategically around the yard weren't good enough for your lazy dis-respecting ass. What exatly were people doing at the back of the property anyway? It's people like you that ruin these events for everyone. That may have been the \"straw that broke the camels back\". Maybe you could host the BBQ next year.

Thank you very much.

Matt.

Who ever did this, oviously could not care what we all think about his doing. I did not even get a chance to be there. I still can appreciate the generosity of Hulk and Family to offer their path to what is mostly a whole bunch of good guys.

As for the a#%^&* (just in case ) who could not hold a few beers before he f$%^ &* $% for the rest, Grow up man, MOM cant look after you for ever.

This I have to agree with Matt, When you f### with my lively hood then I have a problem. I don't mind going around and picking up the cans in the yard, Hell I don't even mind pulling them out of the garbage can... But when you start to mess around with what employes people and could have very easily shut our trucking business down by some simple lazy stupidity then I have a problem, Had DOT saw this Matt would have been fined huge and we would have been pulled off the road.
I have to say Amanda and I are very giving people , However that stunt ended the PointBlank Bar B Q. I will not have that sort of disrespect happen at my place.....

Say what you will Aaron, I know I'm referred to as the \"cheap bastard\" or the \"downer\"  here, but something had to be said. Just for the pure lack of respect.

Matt im sorry that that happened. It always ends up being the small stuff that causes the biggest problems.

And now we see the result.

Amanda and I are very giving people
truer words have never been spoken and/or written.

shane, you and amanda both have given the VW community soooo much over the years, it truly is amazing. thankyouthankyouthankyou for all you and your family have contributed.

and to the boyz of the DGLVK, you seriously worked your arses off this past weekend. while right now it may feel like it was all for nothing, i was blown away by the organization and spread, and know the majority of locals and out-of-towners felt the same way. absolutely phenomenal bash.

whatever you folk -- the constants and the DGLVK -- decide to do (or not do) next year, i know i'll understand and appreciate why. it's been a good ride and, again, thank you.

as for fucking disrespectful tit who blew it for the rest of us, look out -- there's a heaping load of bad karma coming with your name on it.  [_[
Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.

that is totally lame. like shane said, empty beer cans flying off the back of a work truck is not cool. i'm glad to hear that it did not escalate further than this.

so, instead of a linching, let's see if the person is man/woman enough to step forward and admit their mistake and appologize for their actions.

i dont think it has to be a posted for the public, but the constants and the pointblank company definately deserve an appology. and i believe that matt deserves one aswell.

so if the culprit comes forward and contacts the constants and matt personally, then it is at least one step in the right direction.

Well what to say.
Sadly it seems like another case of a few people ruining it for a lot of people. It always seems to happen. Shane thank you for your generiosity in the form of this BBQ. I never got to take part of it due to other obligations. I think I did miss out majorly. Seriously guys who did this shake your heads and use your brain for once.

I've read this a few time and feel like I should post something but I don't know what to say.

To the guy(s)  that did this you should step up and aplogize at the very least.

Shane , Amanda, Matt all of you have helped me out in one way or another and you don't really know me ,to you guys I thank you for every thing you've done. Your generiostity made me a better person.
