attention owners of acvw's with stock motors. beetles, ghias, notches, squares, fastbacks, busses, single cabs, westies, buggies, rails...
i am encouraging you all to bring your acvw's out to mission raceway this friday the 18th to participate in the
stock motor challenge. this will be a good way to get some more vw's on the track and also give the owners a chance to take some runs down the 1/4 mile.
rules...- must run a stock displacement motor
- no turbos or nos
- must make at least 2 passes (the more you make, the better chance you have at winning)
to pass tech you will need...- lap belt
- battery hold down
- back seat over the battery (beetles)
- no more than 12\"s of rubber fuel line
- no hubcaps
- all your lugnuts torqued to spec
- pants, shoes, and long sleeve shirt (no shorts, sandals, or wife/husband beaters)
- no plastic or glass fuel filters (airspeed sells billet aluminum fuel filters for cheap or you can just run hose directly from the fuel pump to the carb...as long as you dont have more than 12\"s total rubber line on the car)
more tech specs here...

i have wanted to try out the 1/4 mile for quite some time. i figure this weekend is as good as any to try it out. i encourage anyone interested to join me. the more acvw's we have on that track, the better. the more stockers we have, the more fun this challenge will be.
the most important part of this event is to have fun. anyone who is interested should reply below so we can start to figure out who's going to show it... B)
