Well Cale , You know what they say.....

\"If it dont go, CHROME it\"
I expect to see you at Airspeed buying all your chrome parts this week.
By the way you couldn't handle the car you have? Did you not smack up the entire frint end?
Maybe Jim can put an throttle limiter on it like he did on his kids ATV?
Just a   thought

Hey Shane

I think you forgot something. Aparently stickers help too. Airspeed stickers I hear take off seconds.

this thread sound like a bash about who has more money.... :P j/k

anyone can buy a finished motor and put it into a car to make it go fast.  Its the build up of the car and motor to make it your own that counts!  if you are too fast for everyone, its not fun to compete with other cars!

just my 2 cents

And yes the black and yellow car is my car now :) and its bad azz! still looks the same as when i bought it..but has MAJOR work done under the skin

and when i get back into town..its gonna get allot more work done 2 it.
soon it will be time for paint and rims..but im more into go fast parts at the moment..

LOL would it not suck to get toasted by your old car?

Cale... Cale .. Cale....
If I get beat by you I am putting Jimmy behind the wheel...... and then he will crank the Turbo and look out...

Sorry about the wing comment did not mean to offend you... You do need paint however cuz it looks like a Taxi!!!! Now I am meaning to offend you :P .... I only bought that car for the engine in which I put into my sand rail.... Did Stephen leave the berg shifter in it???

So is that the technical name.. Carbon Fibre piece???
There is one more thing you can buy for it when you get into town .. Not sure where to get them but they are completely rubber and they strecth around the whole car......Hmmmmmm PNE has some.... Bumper Cars... Yeah that should help you.....

Who painted the taxi? a hacker job it is..but really i would look like some DVKK guy if i had a single colour paint job..and we cant have that..ohh i guess i would need some BRMs to fit right in.

A big rubber ring? LOL they dont make em big enough for me!

Go ahead and crank the boost..you will need it.

yeah the berg shifter was in it..along with the narrowed beam and front disc conversion..other then that..Mechanical parts are all new.

im thinking its getting a 1 peice front end now..and a set of carbon fiber rear fenders..and maybe a fancy air speed deck lid.

then the plan is to paint it tripple black..no idea about rims yet..but it needs to look bad ass.. No pussy bugs. or pink bugs for that matter. hehehehehehe
hahahhahahahahah

hey Point blank..are you the guy that has the alignment shop?
if so maybe i should lay of the smack talk..
but if not..all the bad mouthing still stands :)

I dunno..someone is gonna need to step up to the plate and take on the \"big boys\" and i dont see many ppl getting inline.

all the nice paint in the world..and fancy interiors..and nice rims..aint gonna make a car fast. i know how to make a car fast..its what i do..and its what i will do untill i beat everyone i have set out to beat..and have become the one that needs to be beaten..im not going away..i have YEARs ahead of me..and i already have a quick car..a few more months it will be a STUPID fast car..and then whats next? who knows..but i aint slowing down, thats for sure.

Hey this is cale on shawns comp..you do have a point about the comfy thing..LOL well my car is good enough for the comfy thing..altho i wish it did not leak as much as it does..but i guess thats kinda what you get for daily driving a car that is not really built for the daily drive.

Hey isn't that my motto?
Seabert won't be the fastest 62 around but the interior is sure going to be plush!
I'm still trying to decide how I'm going to fit the wetbar in the back along with the velour tuck and roll back seat in it.

shane, I built a 1965 porsche 356 S90 motor with 48 IDA's, norris cam, etc.. for the car!

so yah.  I've come a long way since a few years back.  I was ripped off many time by people who I put my trust in (remeber that \"2180???\") and I just decided to do things on my own.  I've been in canada for 1-2 months now.  No, I won't have a big race beetle anytime soon because I have schooling coming up in the fall.

I'm deciding to build my own motor next or to get an N/A one.  when you go turbo its no fun because you'll just smoke everyone else!  there is no real competition!  I could just go into debt and buy a huge motor that is finished and come race, but it would never really be my own.  but thats awesome that you picked up that motor and car for $30,000+! (I think thats what I heard!)correct me if I'm wrong.

the black yellow car had the berg shifter in it etc..  the body work was never done 100% properly because I never had a full respray or anything.  gary (the guy shane bought the car off of) did a lot of work on the body, but neglected it.

oh, no shane, you've got your business and everything.  I'm a jealous student that would have to go into debt to compete with you guys :P

yah, I gave that motor away for free.

yah, totally.  most people don't have the time.  instead of working in the garage building your car, you are working and making money to buy the car.  also a good way to go.

props for a nice bug shane.

let me know on the CD player
