Friday Night At Mission
« on: July 08, 2006, 01:18:07 AM »
two car's drove off the trailers and back on the trailers.
one car drove in on it's own power and drove home on it's own power
i call that a good night at the races.
great showing in the imports by the aircoolers and even a little go against the domestics,so i couldn't hear with my helmet on :D
we all had our gremilins tonight, but it was still a whole bunch of fun.can't wait to see some of the video and photo's .

Yup it was a good night, not many bugs and a smaller turnout than you would have expected for the weather.

I had some issues with the car, had to shut it down mid pass as I thought I pulled a Shane; luckily it wasn't a serious issue and I was able to fix it in the pits. My car didn't perform like I expected last night but it will next time out thanks to Jim and Dave helping with some tuning issues. Looks like I still have alot to learn about my combo, I see an LM1 in my near future!

On what we thought was to be the final pass of the night I had turned up the boost but we ran out of time so I didn't get a chance to stretch her legs. My best time in with all the issues I had was a 14.0 @98. There is a 12 in this combo, and I plan to find it!

Like Jim said I drove out to the track which made me nervous but the drive home was nice and I made it in 45 minutes (before midnight and my permit ran out)

Cheers - I'm ready for the next one!!!
