I used to stay away from the Crisco when handling guns.  Back in the day, I used to have a Ruger Blackhawk .38/.357 magnum handgun with a 6\" barrel finished in 400 series stainless steel. That thing packed a wallop with magnum cartridges loaded with 63 gr. cordite and 135 gr. bullets. :o
