what shocks do you guys use in your lowered bays...mine's a 68....with the car sitting on the ground at ride height without shocks, the shock bolt attachments (top and bottom) are at 12\"....and the stock shock measures at 10 1/2\" closed.....

I used beetle kyb gr-2s in mine and it made one hell of a difference!!!

it funny, just today I went a bought a set of gas shocks for an early beetle, got them home to install them and they were the same as were in the bus....I though a beetle shock would be shorter
