Hey Check out this sweet record I found at a thrift store. Nice coral red \"sunroof\" (anyone know what year?). Love the space helmet the kids holding! Good score for 25 cents ^_^

I don't know a heck of a lot about beetles but wouldn't a 65 have a small metal sunroof? I thought Coral was an earlier colour too?

Either that kid has a turn signal up his butt or the artist forgot that it was there. I've never seen an antenna lean back like that either ;)

I had a look at WW's color charts. 58 seems to be the last year for Coral red. 58??

It looks a bit like a 57, I think I can see an oval window.... So it wouldn't have fender signals

Cool picture.

I don't think it is a '65. I think based on the big sunroof and the non ice-pic door handle, it is a 1960, 1961, 1962, or a 1963.

It's not a '65... sunroof....
It's not an Oval..... wrong door handles and no Bullet signals.
I'd have to go with the last opinion... '60 -'63.  Too many things missing in the picture to narrow it down any further.

The European 57's didn't come with the bullet turn signals though.

I stand corrected, the post between door and back pannel is thicker.

Looks like just the thing for the next beach party twist contest.
