Track Day Places?
« on: May 28, 2006, 10:35:41 AM »
I have a birthday coming up soon and want to do something car related, I am a petrol head and can't go very long without driving something.
Was thinking about renting something, Lamborghini Murcielago is 9000 CAD per day, Porsche Boxter is 300 CAD per day, Chrysler 300C is about 90 CAD per day (Its the 6.1 V8 Hemi one though)

If I was back home I would look into a track day, so does anyone know of any places that I can drive some fast cars for the day and get some track experience around Vancouver?

If you want to have some fun and not spend much money then check out some of the mini indy tracks. We did that for my daughters 16th birthday. Those little carts scream. The one we went to had an indoor indy course set up in a buiilding about 100' by 200' and you could hit well over 30mph in a straight about 75' long. I just wish we had one closer (in Bellingham) I'd be there weekly.
