Well, wish us luck. Our property isn't on the market yet and we have our first viewing tomorrow. We are asking too much ($469,000) for 20 acres with an old mobile, new well, new shop (20x32 heated and insulated) as well as a 3 stall barn and some fencing. If we can get our price then the move down to the coast is on......wish us luck and send some mojo.

The place right across the street from me with 3/4 acre in the ALR ,  1300 sqft house and a 400 sqft detached shop just sold for $360,000, Your not far off I'm sure because you are closer to Salmon Arm.   Wow.. a far cry from what you bought it for.  Nothing like almost 3 times-ing your money in 2 years just for living in a place.  Reminds me of our friends who  moved from Abbotsford to a small town in Alberta.  Missed on many mortgage payments could hardly afford to live, sold their place and made close to $200,000.  They bought a 5 acre lot, built their house, shop, paid off all debt and still had $40,000 left over after everything was paid for, and now he is doing what he loves to do, autobody work from home.

Good for both of you, I hope everything works out smooth and the timing is perfect to make the transition.  To bad we will be loosing a Salmon Arm vw member though.

Here's hoping your real estate transaction is a little easier to deal with than mine.
