Wow!!!  Thrashed all week then watched for all of your cars on the weekend and saw no one? I had lots of time to look cause my motor seized after one run. I fired my engine builder, the guys is obviously incompetent!(me)  Did everybody break on the way to the track or do your cars all run just because you never use them ?? Come on guys, next Shifter race is May 21-22. You're not afraid of the turbo Honda, are you? Wayne

Hey B, have you had any seat time with the IDA's? Notice a difference?

Hey James, actually when I took off the carbs and started to try and fit everything it was just too much of a bother. But since I had the old carbs off I tinkered around with the linkage and now I have 100% throttle where last year I probably had 75%. I insured it this weekend to test it and I got out of the car half way around the block because it felt like the fan belt came off. I opened up the decklid and saw no problems. So this tells me that Fred will not be the only one making better times this year. B)  I will keep those carbs for the Fiat. ;)

Dont know when I'm goin'.  The 65 is ready to go and I think I'm very close in optimal jetting. This year I've dropped the compression to 9.5:1 and the car is definitely feeling different from the new upgrades done this winter. I'm really itching.

I'm sure all of those sound like \"reasons\" to you guys but from here they come across as \"excuses\"! There's likely another street legal in two weeks so maybe finish off the tuning then and you'll be ready for racin' two weeks after that! Wayne

Shane- I think his best time was about the same as your low 11 last year but they had some problems which they appear to be sorting out so I'm sure they will be in the 10's soon !!!Wayne

you guys crack me up.

Wayne, I dont have excuses I have alot ;) . Its hard for me to squeeze to mission cause my automotive repair shop is family run. If I was working for someone its easier to tell my \"boss\" to piss off and I'm goin' racin' but its a tad harder when its 2 brothers running a shop with fleet vehicles coming in a constant flow. The competitive sh!! area I'm in isn't a cake walk to make a living.  Even in the slow period of the year I still turn  people away. You should see the crap people drive.

All these rules apply except for the one about the neutral safety switch.
