A Battered And Bruised Rustybus
« on: April 01, 2006, 08:41:42 PM »
i just got off the phone with his wife, and chris has been taken to the hospital after a car fell on him. i dont know all the details other than it is not too serious. he is struggling to breath with a sore chest. he just went in for x-rays. as i know more i will let you all know.
let your thoughts be with him, and his family!

he would be at MSA in Abby. i am not sure if he had to stay the night. all i know how is that the doctor had him trying to take deep breaths, and that put him in agony...

Thanks for the well wishes guys But like James said it was nothing serious. I still can't breathe deep, my right arm feels num and I have restricted movement on the right side nothing is broken. Just alot of internial bruising egp and other wise. I don't think I would have bin willing to go to the hospital even with the hard to breathe issue but all the cracking I heard as the car started to squwish me scared the crap out of me. As for work we will see what the family doctor say's monday

Thanks again
Chris

Man...all I can say is your one lucky guy! When I started to read this post it brought back some seriously bad memories for me. About five years ago I lost a very good friend when his  Z-28 fell on him and crushed him. He was around the same age as me and had a wife and 2 little girls....very sad . We were close and we spent alot of time in my dads garage working on our Suzuki jeeps...he's missed by alot of people!.
Well, take care and get well soon Chris.

I always pile the tires under the car...I don't trust jack stands!
