This coming saturday me and a friend of mine are of to the mecca of shows The Volksworld Show, at Sandown race course near Surrey which is about a two hour drive north. I t my first time at this show and I cant wait, last year they had the oldest prototype of the Beetle dating back to around the second world war , dont quote me on that.
There is something for everyone from Splits to bays,things hebs, squareback,notchback basically anything VW its there.
Massive showground swap meet :P  massive selection of goodies to buy and of course theres bound to be a beer tent :D
Last year they tried to beat the world record for people in and on a  bug I think they got to over 50, anyway going to take some pics and get them to my old mate Needles for all to see.
Going to meet a load of fellow VW on the way so we can go up in convoy, thats a ten four rubber ducky, coming through :rockon:  :rockon:  :rockon:

Look out for my Buddies Toby and Simon from Torquay, i think toby is debuting his Rod style bug there its in Brown primer with kelseys and a red tuck an roll interior, Simon might have the rust bullet friodlin if he hasn't sold it. These are real good friends of mine and they tend to go against the tide a bit in the UK as they build really good  projects and sell them on pretty cheaply and seem to go against the whole high price ethos which i know motivates much of the Uk scene...politics,politics
Enjoy the show i know there are always a lot of debuts at this one.

Please, please, please snap some pics of Mike Pye's new VolksRod! He's debuting it at that show. My good friend Walt Letherman (Rat Patrol builder) did a bunch of custom work on it but was sworn to secrecy until the Volksworld show. I can't wait to see it!
