Well on a good note finally getting day shift after a year of straight afternoons 4;30 till 2;30 in the morning  :) The van came out of storage ,fresh battery and started right up  :) The snow is leaving and spring is in the air . :) This summer should be great ! The only sad  :( part is my best friend of 11 years my shepard husky,Cody is having to be put down fri  :( If only dogs were like our cars and we could just replace the worn out parts , Oh well he has been the best family dog I could have ever had and on to a deserved rest R.I.P. Maybe sometime later this summer we will find a new pup to fill the big whole left by Cody . Hope everyone else has a good spring and gets there vehicles out in the sunshine soon . :)

Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.

I know what it's like. I'm always the one that has to do that kind of stuff. Our first dog lived to 17, second only to 8 (he was dumb, he ate part of a rug), third dog got cancer had to put her down at about 11 and about a month back had to put our last old dog and a cat down. She was 13 and she wagged her tail til she fell asleep :( . I also had to hold our 33 year old horse when the vet came out to put him down. I really am not looking forward for the other horse to go. I hope she goes in her sleep. Dogs just fall asleep, horses fight it :( . We do have three more younger dogs still :D . Can you tell we like dogs?

I know you believe me when I say I feel your pain.  2 beautiful dogs at home right now and I dread the day we have to say goodbye to either of them  Walter is still stuck in my head and he passed 3 years ago.  Cody's a great dog, he will be missed.

Hi Marty,
Cheer up, I understand how you and your family feels.
I don't have a pet, but, I can understand how you and your family can get attached.

On another note, a co-worker of mine passed away about 3 weeks ago.  Went to the funeral, sad thing he was only 34, leaving behind, 2 children and a wife, lots of family and friends!
