Stupidest Thing You Have Ever Done
« on: March 21, 2006, 01:10:12 PM »
lets hear some stories of things we  have done that maybe we should't have.
i'll start
i was in grade 4 (i'm 37 now so it has been awhile)
i remember finding a bullet in one of our drawers at home .22 i think.
we did not have a gun in the house so i don't really know where it came from.
i showed the other kids in the neighbourhood and we tried to find away to make it go off.
we came up with the idea of hitting it with a hammer, bright i know.
so in the backyard of our townhouse we had maybe five of us circled around this bullet and two of us with hammers.
1...2...3..we start taking turns banging away on this bullet, the bullet the whole time is spining like spin the bottle.
then all of a sudden BANG and a thud as it hit the fence across the way.to this day i have no idea how we could have it circled and none of us being injured.
after that no more hammers and bullets they just don't mix

Last year living abroad.
Drank to much while watching trailer park boys got up to go to the can passed out walking smashed my face on my roomies bed. Woke up bleeding....

Moral of the story don't drink and walk
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

the stupidest thing i have ever done was mass amounts of drugs and booze while making lots of cash and blowing it so... while i should have been saving it for a friggin house..

that and wasting my money on a street bug when i knew full well that i was a baja guy.

Drank a fifth and a half of whiskey at a New Years Eve party in 92/93 (I'm not a big guy 160 pounds). Missed the first week of 93 because I couldn't get out of bed. Haven't had a drink since then .

I'll stop at one. I could overload the forum with stupid stuff.

I've got one for ya!
Was at a huge house party in abbotsford a couple years ago and had a beer or two.... I was riding around on a little 50cc dirt bike (kids' dirt bike not those pull-start 49's) all night and crashed in absolutely everything in site. I hit a car dring by on the street, a garage, a parked car and various people on other bikes - but it gets better!

That wasn't enough so we (me and my bro) decided to take my old 1976 Toyota Corrolla off of a 4 foot jump that he has set up in his back yard (remember this IS abbotsford) Well instead of riding IN the car I decided to ride ON the car on my stomach on the roof! The car basically fell off the jump which sent me flying into the hood of the car head first knocking myself unconsious. My legs folded backwards over my ears (OUCH) on impact. I bounced off the hood completely limp and landed on my head AGAIN bending in ways the human body just shouldn't bend. After a quick c-spine by some local IFA guys, I was back up on my feet and thank goodness was able to walk again. The best part was, it's on video and I have the DVD! As soon as I can find someone to host the vid clip I'll post it up for you all to have a laugh at.
Good times!     :mullet:

Decided It would be a WISE move to dump in the fire...........................................................Lesson learned that day.

Gramps stores gunpowder in yellow containers.

Hey Russ, My Dad did the same thing when he was a kid. My Dad grew up in Alberta and was around coal mines as a kid. When he was  9 years old his friends and him would put .22 shells on the coal tracks so when the carts went by they would pop off a bunch of shells. Sometimes they would fire and sometimes they would not. I guess you get a little braver as time goes on and my Dad got shot in the top of his left leg. Back then I guess he was more worried about the wipping my Gramps was going to give him so he didn't say anything for almost 2 weeks. By the time his parents found out he almost lost his leg.The saving grace was the casing went in his leg not the led. They left it in there because it was in the bone........still remember him complaining about it bugging him when he was 65.  Ohhh yea,  he still got his ass wipped by Gramps    LOLO

I was thirteen and on cold mornings before school my dad used to let me go and warm the car up on the drive, until I decided to reverse the car through the front door, oops!!
I quickly locked the car door ( not much point locking the front door ) as my dad with steam venting from his ears came and I think would have killed me if he could have got hold of me.
It took me a while to get out of the car, and a while to speak to my dad, it's funny now, but holy shit I thought my world had ended.

When I was 4, my 2 yr old sister and I were playing and got into a fight. She grabbed dad's hammer off the table and whacked me straight in the forehead. It scared the hell out of Mom, who thought I was dead. I had a bump on my head the size of an egg. Mom put ice on it and in a few min the swelling went down.
Whenever I do something stupid today, I say \"Hey it's not my fault, I was hit in the head with a hammer when I was young\".

Wait till you see the video dude. My explanation does it absolutely NO JUSTICE at all.  I shouldn't be alive let alone walking. The car damned near ran me over too to top it all off  You have to seriously have a stomach to see exactly what I did. It's bad.

Bus, I'll be meeting up with you in the next few days to drop off that DVD.

Well this woulda been stupid if we got caught, but we didn't so, it was just damn fun. My buddy had a 79 Rabitt that he just wanted to wreck, so 3 of us decided to give it a good farewell. There's video of this one as well. We each took turns trying for the best \"stunt\". With my friend driving we aired it out prob 4 ft off the ground and on the landing the ass end bounced to the point where we only saw road through the windshield. I took it down numerous sets of stairs in the local parks and schools. There were plenty of other shenanigans had that night as well. Funny thing is the plan was to kill the rabitt and it just wouldn't die. It sounded like a sewing machine by the end of the night, from no oil after we cracked the oil pan on the first jump, but it still ran.
