25/36hp And 40hp Heater Box Differences
« on: February 28, 2006, 10:47:05 AM »
What's the difference between stale air heater boxes for 25/36 and 40hp motors? I'm looking at pics and visibly they look the same. Is the head flange at a different angle? I see a set on ebay advertised as \"40hp 36hp stale air heater boxes\", but I'm guessing you can't bolt 40hp heater boxes onto a 36hp head.

The air hole in the bottom is round on the 25/36 and the exhaust is beside it.
The air hole on the 40 hp is oval and the pipes in it.
