I mentioned it before but the kids in my class and I are putting on a car show on June 3rd. It will be from 10- 3 (Awards at 2:30) at Salmon Arm Secondary (parking lot). We changed the date from the 10th as many of you said you couldn't make it on the 10th. Kids are pumped to see some of these cars that I have been showing them online over the past few years. Would love to see some VW's there.

We are using this as a fundraiser for the SASS Autobody program . We are one of only two full time programs in the province. We have some commitments from the okanagan British car boys and also the Shuswap vintage car club and perhaps even a member or two of the S.A.K.K.

We should have some killer kids cars there as well. All voting will be done by spectators.

I know James has already booked his hotel (about a 30 second drive away). Holiday Inn I believe. I will talk to the AS staff as to whether or not they will hold registration forms for us. Forms will be available in mid March.

$20 per vehicle
$150 per car club.

Should be an awesome time! If someone has any ties to the Alberta and Sask crews can you pass this along to them. Don;t hesitate to pm me if you have any ?'s

Whats the benefit to registering as a car club?

You all park together. Many car clubs have more than 7 members so it becomes a cost saving thing as well.
For DGLVK just register individually and I'll make sure you are all together.

I was able to book the room via airmiles if anyone is interested, also I am able to get an executive discount if anyone wants me to check it out for them. I've stayed there before - nice pool, excellent free breakfast...

Is a drive in movie night at Enderby for the vw crowd something to think about? Or would there be a get together somewhere for the evening?

I think a drive in night would be killer. I was going to talk the Maurer's or the Moore's into hosting a bbq, but that would be an awesome idea!!!!
