Ok it's not a VW but I think you'll like it. My Brother and I have been building a car each for this summer (Cruise to Paso Robles show in CA). Looks like he's WAY ahead of me !!!! :blink:   He just finished his this weekend, Here are a few shot's of it yesterday at roll out.

Just in time for the Abbotsford show this weekend.

There is also a short video clip of it at idle, testing the clutch and brakes.

Choped 7\" Canneled 7\" Box shortened 22\" 289ci Stude motor with 331 Cady intake

1976Bus, Whats cool about those doors is, My Dad found a metal sign in the ditch near the border when he was a kid (old border customs sign). That sign has been in our house for as long as I can remember. My brother now has it in his shop, He then added the \"& Hot Rods, West Van\" My Sister Gillian painted the door art for him, It look's just like the orig sign.

Awsome,.... and your his brother!!! WOW!!!! nice custom creative design.  I like the tires the same height as the bed rail.  My brother in-law is all about channeling, I'm sure he will bump into your brother in Abbotsford if he takes the car there.

Trevor P, Yeah thats my Brothers shop. He has a Repair shop by day and then the Hot Rod stuff on his free time. I think He will be going full time on the Hot Rod stuff as he is getting a lot of requests for work. Here are a few others he has built.



53 Stude, 96LT1,ZF 6 speed, 9\" TCI front end, 20x10 & 18x8 Torque Thrust II.





50 Ford, 3 3/4 chop, 350TBI, 700trans, s10 front clip, 54 Chev grill, 56 Olds headlights, 41 Lincoln door buttons...




Gold 50 Ford, 5\" chop, 56 Caddy Dagmars, 63 Stude headlight rings,Stude caps, High mount box tailpipes, Olds Rocket motor.

Checked the truck out this weekend at the Tradex. Coolest thing there for sure, lots of attention from everyone.

We saw it there today as well, the best part was there was more people gathered around it than there was the dark blue Kaiser that was the show's \"main\" attraction.

Just talked with my Bro, He won best Rat Rod (there were only two  :lol: ) But he did win best of show voted by ISCA members and will also have a feature in RPM some local magazine?

Now it's off to the Seattle Roadster show this weekend.
