i don't quite remember but i think i saw in a magazine somewhere a place that sold clutch cables that came with a sheath on it. something that looks like a brake cable on a mountian bike.

can someone tell me who sells it? or am i just on drugs?

There are Dune buggy Cables with a teflon sheath for acc and maybe clutch but i dont think you would want to use one in a sedan.

I think the acc cable for FI beetles had a sheath on it, Geoff should know this one.

i'm really surprised that this product isn't more common. Now correct me if i'm wrong. I haven't really had a close look at my clutch tube yet, but from my understanding, the clutch cable is rubbing against the metal tube right? eventually it'll chew into the tube causing a gaping hole.

would a sheath/sleeve on the clutch cable solve this problem(if it is a problem)? or am i just paranoid induced by the drugs as mentioned beforehand?

Its not so much the cable wearing through it. Its more of the cable causing the tube to brake free where its welded to the tunnel.
I don't think a cable with a sheeth would help.

If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?
