I would like to take my vw to California in the spring/summer. Which is THE best show to go to? I have been to Kelley Park and it is a very good show, but it is still a little cold!I went to Sacramento this past fall with Doubledoor and it wasn't that great! I was thinkin maybe the Classic. Did anyone go last year?
If you have any suggestions please let me know!

The Classic is THE event of the season. A great four day event with the added bonus of being in the center of the VW aftermarket.

The current rumour down south is that Bug-In 33 won't happen this spring.  Plan on the Classic, it will be big without a Bug-In.

Classic all the way! There may even be a few other cars heading down this year. Some of the DVKK guys may be taking their cars. Gary? Jim? Lanny?

Oh I didn't know Dvkk members actually drive their cars. I thought they were just kept for shows and the occasional drag. That's why they always look so peeerty! I don't know if they could keep up to everyday drivers!

Thanks Geoff,
I was wondering that myself.. How can you have a club with three members?
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

DVKK club cars have been entered at the VW Classic in Cali 12 times by my count.

Isn't that about 12 times more than any other club in Van?

Nice one Bruce!

I think Brian entered and won at last years Classic?....When he was in their club.

This year could be very good if we can get both clubs to bring their cars down for the week.
