Well we are staying together ,But let see, first tree on hunt perfect ,wife decides to pass next three lots nothing   next tree farm SOLD OUT  ] Back to first place tree gone  :wacko: jetta starts to run $!$#@.
3 Hours later buy one right close to home nerves shot to hell   .Couple years back losing tree off car roof and duct taping back on much more laughable   Oh well Tree decorated, a drink into me and marriage back on track and kids happier   Anyone else have some intresting Christmas calamties or good laughs .P.S. Jetta running fine now   Wishing you and yours the very best this Christmas Season from the Moore family

No buddy has any good Christmas folliies involving vw's,trees or stressed out parents .My family just went out for dinner and had quite a laugh about todays tortureous tree hunt and have decided on going artificial next year :lol: Quiet place this airspeed lounge lately maybe i should have put it in the E thug forum .

As my wife was leaving for her work out and I was puting up the christmas lights she turns to say don't fall off the roof. And then I said \"well maybe stick around so if I do you can call an ambulance for me.\"
Well, she left and I almost fell off the roof and now I want to divorce her ass.

I know in my old van I used to carry a blanket around and an ice scraper for the inside of the van in the winter time .Saw some snow photos on the samba how about any vw snow photos   76 bus lighted his bus up with christmas lights and a wreath last year i think it looked pretty cool .Brian cook ,mike grocott and pierce built a large convertable beetle in the snow one year in my front yard . Brian I wont post photos as we both have rather good mullets going on circa 1985  :lol:

Great idea shawn I think I could go for a slurpee right now . It is never to cold for one I can remember a few Christmases back I was so hooked I would buy 2 or 3 threeon  x- mas eve so I wouldn,t have to go out ,just thaw them out in the microwave .Swapmeets were good. I can remeber Brian And I trying to bumper ski behind your pontiac you used to drive  :lol: How about the apex trip with negus, sommerton lawrence ,jeff, and the gang didn,t jeff drive sterks 58 beetle up to apex with Kathy ?

Anyone else have some intresting Christmas calamties or good laughs .

This year we thought we'd go artificial, well my usually calm wife spent two hours putting lights on and off,and on and off ]  and when she'd finished the tree, it looked like the leaning tower of piza :lol: I laughed , she did'nt. Now we have the National lampoons of real trees and we now need a bigger house, I love Christmas , my wife is still thinking about it .

i once hopped a fence at a school, here in abby
cut down the only tree in there yard, tossed the tree
back over the fence, tossed it in the back of my buddies truck and left...

while looking for a tree i almost died, but it was all worth it in the end.

My sister got the best christmas tree around

Whew........close one. Thought I was going to have to call Nanny 911 on ya there for a minute :lol:  Glad  everything worked out.

We bought an artificial tree a few years ago. I thought it was the greatest thing ............ Apparently it's not so great , we have a real one again this year [_[

Here's my story. I was putting up my real tree this year. Had it leaned into the corner so I could get some fishing line to help secure it from falling. Came back the tree had fallen over dumping about 6 litres of water on my floor I then get the tree up and tied. I strung the lights and went upstairs to get another string. My duaghter yells Dad. I come downstairs and the damn tree is laying on the floor again dumping the water again. Suffice to say I pitched it out the door ($26 down the tubes) and went and bought an artificial. Love this Christmas crap. Merry Ho Ho everyone.
