The car looks wicked Darren! I expect a invite for a looks see. I didn't notice a pocket in the bottom of the seat for the bedpan......... :rockon: , also I am very let down.....were are the pics of the only thing that matters.....the engine dood the engine. Now I am not going to be able to sleep tonight.  :blink:

Uhmmmmm.....I think you will hold the #1 spot for fastest old beetle door slammer in Canada next year.  


.....Can you match the times the car has allready run???    .........   And should run?.......This is a 9 second car DUDE!!!!!......I have a 120 mph limiter installed in my mind and I will never go faster. ..... I hope you like speed......How does your wife feel about you going 140+mph down the track?

Hurry and post a video of it starting and a good burnout ....we are all waiting.  I wish I was still in Langley right now.  Your giving me goosebumps.   Let her rip.

Someone on another forum asked me to come over and splain how long it took me to do this car. Well, about 2 years. I had a vision of what I thought a P/M car \"should\" look like and here is the build. http://www.norcal1320.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10036 I sent Lanny some vid's at Bug-O-Rama last year. This car is FRESH and ready to ROCK. It's been 9.40's @ 145+ with the old engine. This engine is all new and ready to do battle. It isn't a car, it's a saw. Ready to saw it off. :rockon:  

Once you hear the exhaust note, you know it means business.
 
Glad you got it Darren and Lanny. Hope you don't puss out on it (like some people did lol) and beat it like a rented mule.  :rockon:

It was a fun build and I'm glad it's going to get some good use now. The 55' ragtop will be done soon with the 2442cc and NOS. Shooting for some single digits in that car (which you can see the pics of it in the link above), then onto the new build. More CC's and engine in a diff location.  ;)

Can't wait to see your rag done also.  :blink:

That's a sweet car, nice build up!  I'm not really a drag race fan, but even I know how much time/effort/CASH it took to build that.
