Three words: Duane's German Autohaus

I will never again bother to try and tune my own car for aircare.

I have never failed aircare. If it's smoking dump 2 containers of no smoke in your engine and lean it up. Throw some Methly in there and when you are done passing airecare do an oil change to get rid of the no smoke.
I have passed many a car with no smoke.

You have to post ALL the numbers, even the ones you passed.  Only then can your defect can be diagnosed.

I don't think it's useless , ......a pain yes . But not useless. Just means we can't get away with poor running cars.  You do have a problem that should be fixed , not covered up with methyl hydrate or some other crap. It could just be a simple adjustment . You do want your SC to be running properly don't you?   Post all the numbers(maybe in the engine tech section) and maybe some info about the motor
, ie mileage, compression, recent work etc. and I'm sure we can help you get it passed.

all the time i've spent triing to get through air care, let someone who knows what there doing set it up. most times in the long run with running around you end up spending more money on things that don't work!!!  methyl hydrate is very bad for fuel injection systems.   do those motors come equiped with a catylitic convertor?
