Ahhh the days when there were VW scrap yards like Allied stacking vw's 3 high. You could drive to Seattle and visit Alseth, good yard cheap prices.

There's a yard on Scott rd that used to be called A-Scott Discount.  It may be called Ralph's now.  They have 2 Supers and a Ghia right now.  They also have several Busses.  Neither of the Supers have the gas heater exh pipe you need.
I was talking to Mike, owner of Mike's autowrecking in Langley, and he will be getting back into aircooled VWs in the next year or so.  When he sold Gordon's, he had to sign a non-competition clause that expires soon.
Capt. Crunch in Abbotsford usually has a Bug or two, so does the self serve yard out in the 'wack, right next to the freeway.
Alseth in north Seattle is VW only and has lots of stuff.
