Well The Motor Is Installed
« on: November 13, 2005, 06:45:55 PM »
took a bit of screwin around but it is in , used the wrong clutch cover at first, but figured it out, and put the right one on, took 4 hours in total , not bad time for taking it out twice by my self and reinstalling it, all the wires are in, gas lines, throttle cable, all thats left is the gas tank, seats and heater,  then back to the paint shop for a final spray, let me just say that i took for granted how much stuff there is to do on a project like this, that it would be easier because it a vw , not true , the biggest mistake i made was, not dryfitting my chrome, lights and such, now i have to paint again , but its kool because i want to change the finish, i was going to go with the same color, and put a flattening agent in the clear, so i can get a suede look, then paint the new rims red, then it will be complete, oh ya and bleed the brakes, two more days
