After lurking here all this time I was finally able to register. Just want to say hello and big thanks to Airspeed for this forum!! I've been an aircooled VW nut for something like 30 years, although .......I don't have that much to show for it right now . A 68 stock body beetle (best et 14.75) A 57 single cab(10+ year project) and 50% owner of a 4 seat sandrail (project). Anyway , I've enjoyed these forum's and look forward to being here as much as I can.

Thanks guys, but I think my knowledge is like my cars...........rusty
and thunder bugs , boy thats going way back. I was able to
meet up with Cam and and few others at me & eds this summer, brought
back some good old memories. Is that you Brian ?

Hans has forgotten more than most of us know. When we goSandrailing in Oregon we are always happy to have our Guru with us. Most of us have \"GOT SAND?\" or \"GOT DUNES?\" on our trailer and after the last few trips I think we are going to add \"GOT HANS?\"

Thanks Shane.. I never thought I'd be building a sand rail, but all you guys just
have a way of having fun and good times specially at the dunes and you got
me hooked. And you know .....there are alot of guys around here that really
do know their stuff and build awesome cars and do amazing things. The aircooled
thing seems to be going very good these days. Just happy to be a part of it.
Can't wait to see you cruzen in your new car !!!!
