Geoff Peterson: Armed & Fabulous
« on: October 31, 2005, 01:48:15 PM »
Just got off the phone with the boss. He's down in Vegas for the SEMA show and stopped by the Las Vegas Gun Store to crack off some rounds. Said he tried the M-16 and the AK-47, and may go back tomorrow for a try at the .60 cal.
When I was there in March, the wife and I swapped back and forth between the 9mm Beretta and the Glock.
Next time you're down, be sure and try it out. Ear-to-ear grin guaranteed.

Geoff sends hugs & kisses to everyone.

If your in Vegas and want to blow off a little steam and a few rounds, swing by the \"Gun Shop\". It's a well run indoor range and gun shop. It was our first time shooting a machine gun but what a blast. We had a grinn from ear to ear. Bruce jammed the AK so we swapped to the M16 half way thru our session.
We had each taken our turn with AK (one clip each)  a few small bursts at a time. Now with the M16 it was time to let loose B)  I tell ya, It's hard to keep from spraying the bullets all over the target. It's not so much the kick but the torque that gets ya.

Bruce had one extra clip so with that he let loose, 25 rounds in ummm maybe a second
There was empty shells flying all over the place. We took a few pic's, maybe Bruce will post them.

Here is a pic of my target, a few stays but most in one area. Looks like it took one to the neck and one in each of the baby makers

Yeah but my guess would be you had more training than, \"Ok guys....here are your guns and ammo, start killing paper\"
