omfg...that is a horrible crash. thank god he is ok.

at 141mph he sure gets bent and thrown in a hurry. do they know what caused it? wind? negative camber and no traction at the rear when he lets off the throttle?

that is such a shame. wasnt that car built and completed this year?

That's really unfortunate, as I think that 'was' one of the nicest race cars ever built! I guess that's the risk you take every time you go out to the track.

Must be devistating to Shawn to think of rebuilding it again...

that's racing!!!
most of us know that racing
costs money but if your not prepared
to replace an engine or two and
sometimes a whole car
it's safer too stick to spectating.

That car in person was so clean it was crazy. I know Shawn, it won't slow him down. Maybe he'll put that drivetrain in the new 55 'street car' Buddy Hale 's doing for him.. :!:

That was one hell of a run. Glad he wasn't hurt in that wreck. Hopefully most of the expensive parts will be salvageable.
