well after alot of work i finally found the info i needed, the seats i will need are beetle 73-79, track with pedestal mounting, if anybody is selling a set let me know? thanks

If you find a set of 73 seats keep in mind that they are a 1 year only. Call Stefan at Rudy Feeg. 604 590 4409. The bases should be the same.

For your fastback correct?

I'll finally be taking mine out of my 73 fasty by the end of the week.
The drivers' side upholstery is pooched and needs a little work on the springs.
Passenger side's ok. Mechanically they're perfect.
Let me know if you're interested and we can work something out.

are they the same mounting as a 73 79 beetle?

Yes , I'm pretty sure VW started putting that style in all thier cars in 73. One size fits all I think.

So those seats will not work for you.....need something else?
