It would suck to have your fully restored vw stolen and stripped. thats what happened to this beauty and now its forsale at the insurance auction.

missed the Bosch antenna too. These are a rare and pricey item now. WhyTF would they risk stealing a $50k vehicle for doors and windows. I'm with Steiner. Let me know when you find out who. Hulk are you in?

BTW good observation on it bein a Kombi owner Mr. CSI guy. I don't know about later though as the doors wouldn't have been push button. I really don't think they were that smart though to know there's a difference. WTF were they thinking....they'll have to weld up all the holes in the doors from the deluxe trim

First thing I thought of when I saw that.............goes on all the time ......take your car( be it a honda or a chevy or a 50 g vw)......take the doors and seats off of it and a few other bolt on items and your car is a write off......buy it back with the insurance money and put all the parts back on...re regester as a rebuilt...and ..TADA......ya think there would be a bit more body damage or why leave the bumpers?

We've got some emblems you could use for a mould (or is it mold? I don't know). We'd need it back though. we're in Langley...p-mail if you're serious.
