In just a few short hours the NHL will finally get the season under way and you know what that means? It's time to start gettin' a hate on for those gawd-damned Toronto Maple Leafs... or make-believes as I like to call them!

But seriously folks let's see what predictions you've got for the outcome of the season and who gets to walk away with hockey's \"holy grail\".

I'd really like to see the 'nucks in the final but I think it'll be Calgary-Ottawa final and the gawd-damned leafs in LAST!!!  :rockon:

It was a long winter last year without hockey. Dont forget about the hockey pool forms at airspeed. If people show lots of interest I will have a playoff pool when the time comes. Go Canucks Go!!!!!!!!!

i went to a pre season game and it was pretty uneventful.i'm hoping the game is good tonight,i'm looking forward to it
i think sanjose may have a shot this year and(out of left field i will say philly)

imho, after a season of no hockey and players not getting alot of skate time mixed with the new rules it will make it very difficult to make a proper prediction. the best we can do right now is to wait for 3-4 weeks to see how all the players and teams adapt.

with that being said, i'm going to pick my fave...the vancouver canucks.

i wouldnt mind seeing the penguins do well with mr. lemieux and mr. crosby.

the senators or the habs are my back up canadian teams.

cant stand the leafs or the flames.

as for tonight, i think mr. gretzky will have to look for his first \"w\" as head coach somewhere else.

not in our house.  B)

ya right. I predict the Vancouver Cannots will dissapoint the fans yet again this year. Just like they have every year since their beginning.....it's what they do best.

BAM! the big W! Gotta like it so far! The game seems to be a hell of a lot quicker now too!

BOOOOOO to TSN for covering the freakin' leafs game for the first ten minutes of the 'Nucks game! That was a major PISS OFF! GRRRR!
