well today i took my 63/64 in for paint. still not sure on the year, have to run the regi! the paint turned out great. it was a bit of an experiment using flattening paste in the topcoat. it turned out a bit lighter than the original royal blue, it is quite the unique color. cant wait to put the polished aluminum 17's, and all the chrome trim on.

good job buddy. damn james. i just checked out the pics on the actop20 site. you're really kicking ass and moving along. congrats.

do you have the vin tags? the # on them will tell you the month/year it was built.

the tag is inside the spare tire bucket. havent taken a good look at it.
i forgot to mention, the car is a bit darker in person. with the booth lights the pics look brighter. for now the engine will be the 1641 out of my 68, eventually i would like ot build a bigger motor. however it will be a daily driver, so nothing outrageous.
also for this being my first prep/restoration job, i am really happy. i would have likeed to be a little more thorough, but i cant complain. my next project will be a long term one!
